Love Notes

I really really like love notes. I got a hate note once, did not like that at all. I stumbled across Cody's little stash of love notes I had written him over the last year or two. I realized that if he saves them, he must like them. So yesterday I wrote Cody a love note. I was so sneaky about it, I snuck out to the truck and put it on the dash when he didn't even suspect it. I knew he had a big test that day. And guess what?! I got a love note back today...plus a flower on my desk! Made my day! Made me so happy I thought I'd write some more love notes.

Dear Utah thank you for sending us gorgeous sunshine today, I love your mountains and I love living here. Thanks for bringin' the pioneers this way.

Dear Mom, thank you for the books you let me borrow and for letting me hang out with you almost every day when I'm in Alpine. I just love it.

Dear macbook, I love how smooth you are. I love carrying you with me everywhere I go. Thanks for being so fast at everything you do.

Dear Better Homes & Gardens Magazine: thank you for all the inspiring ideas for my amazing future home. I sure love reading you these days. I love your style, the make-over and renovations you do. So motivating.

Dear Cody, of course I love you. Thanks for studying so hard this summer term. You're such a smartie.

Dear cozy bed, thank you for being so cozy and for helping me keep my feet warm. Ah...I love all the time we share together.

Dear Air Popper: Thanks for the great popcorn you make. I love it with olive oil and salt and pepper. You are the best.

Dear bobby pins: Thanks for saving my bad hair day today. I owe you big time.
